Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
On 25th January, Primary 2 marked Robert Burns’ birthday by learning about the bard’s life and works. For the rest of the week, we engaged in various activities to celebrate Scotland. In art, we created tartan patterns and made thistles, Scotland’s national flower.
We had a ‘mini’ highland game theme to our outdoor learning and had a go at ‘Haeds, Shooders, Knaps and Taes, Knaps and Taes.’ We made Scottish desserts to finish the week off on a delicious note!
Thank you mummies and daddies for joining in and helping us have fun.
