Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
The latest House Challenge for students and staff was launched at the end of February and has had a great response from our school community so far. The #BeYou House challenge encourages students and staff to spend some time away from their screens and enjoy their hobbies and pastimes. Spending time doing what makes you YOU, has been central to the latest House challenge and staff and students have recorded an enormous range and number of hobbies and pastimes.
Across the Houses students and staff have been baking, reading, writing, crafting, scrap booking, playing chess, singing, drawing, building Lego, knitting and taking part in an array of different forms of exercise from yoga, outdoor swimming and ballet to name just a few!
Heads of House have been encouraging students in their respective houses to get involved in the challenge by demonstrating their own hobbies and pastimes and these have included dog walking, Lego building, and listening to vinyl! The challenge runs until the 26th of March with House Points available every time a #BeYou session is logged.
