Celebrating Red Nose Day in Junior School

JSRND2021 sLast Friday, 19th March, all the children in Nursery and Junior School came to school dressed as superheroes for Red Nose Day. As this year’s theme was 'Share a Smile', we took part in lots of fun activities throughout the day to help raise smiles and money for Comic Relief charities.

In the morning, the Nursery-Primary 3 classes each had a dance in the playground, in their year group bubbles, with Baymax from Disney's 'Big Hero 6'. In the early years, they played 'pass a smile games' and shared jokes. The Primary 3-5 girls took part in a fun Red Nose Day Quiz. In the afternoon we all met outside in our year group bubbles to watch the teachers and staff take part in a Red Nose and Spoon race. It was very funny (and loud), and Mrs White took first place with her eggcellent balancing skills!

JSRND2021 3 sThank you to everyone for joining in and for your generous donations. In total, we raised £197.99 for charity.
