Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
Primary 6 are learning all about the human body. Last week, we learnt all about the skeletal system. For our first lesson we had to make a skeleton out of bone shaped dog biscuits.
There were various shapes and sizes. We had to show all the different parts of the skeletal system and the different bones that we knew. After we had made our skeletons, we were left with lots of dog biscuits. We have set up a doggy tuck shop where you can buy pick and mix biscuits for your dog. We have to make the money back that we spent on the dog biscuits, and we are going to donate the profit to the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home.
So far, we have raised about £20!
