We have big news from our planters! The lovely sunshine and our daily watering seemed to have worked some magic. We can actually see some radishes now! We are going to harvest our carrots, radishes and rockets next week. We look forward to sampling some of our produce in class!
As part of our Katie Morag and the Island Study topic, we have been learning to weave tartan patterns using paper. We enjoyed making tartan bags and showcasing our creations.
In Maths, we have been learning about the need to use standardised units to measure. We have really enjoyed measuring objects in and around our classroom, learning about volume and weighing random items! The most interesting item to weigh was definitely one of our smelly shoes!
The highlight of this term had to be the beach visit to Yellowcraigs! We enjoyed every minute of it. We love being in Primary 2 and we look forward to summer holidays followed by more fun in Primary 3!
