The Ducklings Visit the Museum

Ducklings Museum 660w

What a fun week the Ducklings have had with our trip to the Museum. We all enjoyed the ride there on the St George's mini bus. When we arrived at the museum we all went and had our snacks, in the special room, with lots of other girls and boys from different schools.

After a tasty snack, we went on our search to find the dinosaurs! We found lots of different dinosaurs - the big T-rex had very sharp teeth and the stegosaurus had spikes all down his back.

We found some interactive games to play on the top floor and we all had great fun exploring all the different activities. There were big animals and very small animals, tall animals and short animals. We learnt about skeletons and discussed the bones within our own and animals’ bodies. We even found a special scale, which we all hopped on and discovered that altogether, we nearly weighed the same as a polar bear! Polar bears must be very heavy!

A great trip with so many learning opportunities that will enhance and expand our current Dinosaur topic.
