Ancient Greece Workshop

Greek 600w

Last Friday we had a Greek workshop with some Greek and Latin teachers from Upper School. They started by talking to us about democracy in ancient Greece. We were separated into two groups: men and women. The women lined up and we demonstrated what worshipping the goddesses would be like. They were not allowed to vote. Then we learnt a bit about the Greek alphabet and we learnt how to write our names. We also sang a Greek song about frogs.

It was a lot of fun to do the acting, dressing up and to have the teachers come and talk to us. Thank you Ms Knutt and Mrs Bell.

Arabella, P6
