On Sunday, a few of us went on the Sunday Surprise Trip with Miss Ngangom.
We got the train to North Berwick and then grabbed a taxi to Dirleton Castle, which is a mediaeval fortress in the town of Dirleton, near North Berwick. We were then given a tour of the ruin by two knights; it was really fun trying to imagine the castle in its prime. The grounds were stunning and we had a little picnic under one of the trees when the rain started to pour, but it quickly cleared.
After our picnic, we went to North Berwick beach and continued our picnic snacks. A few of us were brave enough to wade into the North Sea. The view was brilliant. We then took the train back to Edinburgh.
We had loads of fun! Thank you so much Miss Ngangom.
