I had a lot of fun yesterday evening, 15 September, baking with the girls and the houseparents, Mrs Gray and Miss Worthington. We ended up making a Victoria sponge cake, following a recipe written by Mary Berry. My favourite part of the evening was definitely eating the cake at the end. My team's cake was amazing and we enjoyed putting raspberry jam and whipping cream in the centre of the cake. We sprinkled icing sugar on top of our cake as a finishing touch.
